The Story Behind It
What you feed your mind is reflecting in your thoughts and sometimes in writing. this is one is something that rubbed on my mind

As much as I want to refrain from commenting on the war situation. I am amazed by the way Zelensky is handling the situation and showing how he is a true leader. I am fascinated to hear about him irrespective of my schedule and how is delivering each speech. How powerful and inspiring are his words? He is giving hope to people in adversity without giving false promises. So much so that I am looking through his journey and want to salute him for showing us what leadership is all about. Was I the first one to realize it? Oh no, his leadership style and his deliveries are being considered by the elite B-Schools across the world. He is becoming a global war hero after a long.
Let’s understand why he is becoming a leader first then his style. He is showing courage when half of the world in his position would have taken an easy route. People can complain when he chooses not to be fled away from his country but rather asked for ammunition. He is not the one sitting behind some desks and letting people handle the issue. He is leading the country and making the requests in a humble but impactful manner.
“Be like a lion and a wolf, then you have a big heart and the power of leadership.” ~ Unknown
One of the best lessons of leadership can be seen in the wolves. Wolves are the breed that values communication, and they keep the communication openly all the time through their howling, growling and modification in their body language. Wolves also understand that they can’t do all the work themselves they will have to share their load to get a better outcome. Zelensky is asking for help from the world in a dignified manner without ego. He is communicating openly, in simple language, first creating an emotional connection with all the people and making him vulnerable to the truth. I am so astonished to see him.
“My own definition of leadership is this: The capacity and the will to rally men and women to a common purpose and the character which inspires confidence. ” ~ General Montgomery
In short, his charismatic personality is out in open from the time he went into politics from being an actor and achieved his peak at trying times. Maybe that’s why it is said diamonds are normal coals unless tested and not every coal becomes a diamond.
An apt article about a very inspiring man. Well, truly speaking I think nobody would have thought that he would react like this in this unprecedented time. And you rightly quoted
that “diamonds are normal coals unless tested and not every coal becomes the diamond”. He has come out as a diamond in these testing times. I have noticed one very important thing here which has given reinforcement of the thought of “Servant Leadership”. His way of dealing with this situation can also be compared something with “Vivek Agnihotri’s” The Kashmir Files story. Dealing with the truth, addressing the innate strength of freedom of expression and speech of the common men and taking and maintaining the stand are some of the most awesome aspects of these budding true heroes.
Really inspiring sharing Bhoomika.
